Nebraska

Greetings from Bruce Younglove and Bill Zuspan, Co-Captains of Nebraska. We are excited to the caravan stop here in Lincoln and know you all will enjoy our Capitol City. Lincoln is a city on the move with lots of new construction going on that include new hotels, bars & restaurants and a new arena. The Historic Haymarket in downtown Lincoln is where all the building is going on and it will all be done by your arrival in August of 2014.

As you arrive in Lincoln on Monday afternoon or early evening you will find many restaurants & bars within short walking distance from your downtown hotel. Our caravan gathering place will most likely be on "Canopy Street". We are working with the Lincoln Downtown Association for a Big Red Welcome to our city. More on that later.

Plans for the Tuesday morning visit of the Museum of American Speed are in place and we know you'll all enjoy their fabulous tour. Check out their website at: www.museumofamericanspeed.com. The museum is located at 599 Oak Creek Drive, just about a mile from downtown. Members from our Nebraska Corvette Association (NCA) will be on hand to help with parking. Our club website is: www.nebraskacorvette.com. Our NCA club sponsor, DuTueau Chevrolet has arranged for Chris Garner, Certified Corvette Tech. to be on hand 24 hrs. to help any caravan participant with Corvette mechanical problems. Chris has also arranged their parts suppliers to be on hand as well. DuTeau's website is: www.duteau.com.

Directions for your next stop in Columbia, MO: Take ninth st. west out of downtown and it turns into Hwy. #2 south to Nebraska City which is about 50 miles.
